About Us
Port Coquitlam Senior Citizens’ Housing Society, which operates the Hawthorne Seniors Care Community, has been the largest single provider of residential services to seniors in the Tri-Cities area since 1958
Living at Hawthorne
At Hawthorne, our core services take care of daily living needs such as meals, housekeeping and laundry. Our support services keep the residence clean and tidy to the maintenance team that makes every effort to ensure that the residence is safe and without hazards,
Campus of Care Programs
A single location where easy accessibility to housing, health care, therapeutic recreation and other options are provided allows older adults to remain living in the same environment and neighbourhood despite changing functional and health status.

Hawthorne has been the leader in senior care in our community for over five decades. From the programs we have implemented to the food we serve and the recreational activities and therapies that we offer, our service to seniors has always been informed by a strong code of ethics and an equally strong commitment to the core values that we hold dear.

Hawthorne Lodge
Hawthorne Lodge is a Complex Care residence. That means it is a residence designed to address the needs of seniors who require total assistance with the activities of daily living or who have mobility issues.
Hawthorne Cottage
Designed for older adults with dementia and psychogeriatric conditions, the Cottages were the first of their kind in the Lower Mainland. They provide private, respectful and dignified care.
Hawthorne Tower
Area seniors who would like to participate in recreational and learning activities in the company of other seniors should consider the Adult Day Program offered by Hawthorne Seniors Care Community.

Dogwood Place and Dogwood Manor provide subsidized rental housing for seniors.
